30 June 2005 - Ratification by the Cyprys' parliament. Eleventh country that ratifies the EU Constitution
a first discussion took place in the House of Representetives (Committee on European Affairs) on 4 February 2005.
The heads of the parties represented in the House of Representatives confirmed their commitment to rounding off the debate on the European Constitution Treaty and put it to vote on 30 June.
In a special plenary session, the House will begin discussion of the treaty at 4pm the day before. The debate will spill over to the following day, concluding with a vote on the ratification of the treaty.
